Remedy For "Heart Failure"

Man is getting very jittery and nervous nowadays due to the uncertainties of life and prevailing harsh conditions in the world. For those who just survived a typhoon, a change in weather conditions to a stormy day will get them scrambling for shelter. Yet, for those who survived an earthquake, the slightest rumbling in the deep of the night will send their hearts fleeting fearing another big quake.

For those who are affected economically by rising costs of living and unemployment, we fear for our future and how far our next dollar will bring us. Man is literally dying of "heart failure" as fear grips them. The prophet Isaiah described Man in fear as such :
Isaiah 13:7
"Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt."

Even the Psalmist David described his "heart failure" as follows :
Psalm 40:12
For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me.
Psalm 38:10
My heart pounds, my strength fails me; even the light has gone from my eyes.

But there is hope in God and as the Psalmist David turns to God, he proclaimed :
Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

God will strengthen us again. We need not fear as He will carry us through the storms of our lives. Ultimately, whatever grips us and whatever plans there are in Man's heart God's purpose will prevail.
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

God's promises are "Yes" and in Christ "Amen !". He will not fail us nor forsake us. As written in Joshua 23:14 "Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed."

The prophet Isaiah wrote :
Isaiah 35:4
say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."

Yes, God will come and save you. Do not fear or be dismayed, for God is the strength of your heart. Keep your focus on Him. He will carry you through.
